Minimum 1+ years social worker experience required.
We are searchingfor a School Social Worker, Mental Health Professional, or Licensed Counselor for the full school year. We are looking for a kind and dedicated candidate interested in helping students full-time in a school-based setting.
Qualifications:
- Qualified as a Mental Health Professional under the requirements of the Department of Human Services (DHS) with aMasters degree or higher and licensed as one of the following: Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW), Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT), Licensed IndependentClinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), LicensedProfessional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), Licensed Psychologist (LP, Psychiatric or Osteopathic Physician, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, or a clinical trainee in one of the categories above.
Details:
- 2024-2025 school year
- Full time: 40 hours per week / Monday - Friday
- Caseload: K - 12th grade students; specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
- Pay Range: $30 - $45 per hour, depending on previous experience
Responsibilities:
- Assiststudents, parents/guardians and staff with methods and resources that effectively address issues of achievement, social emotional adjustment, and attendance in the school setting
- Increase student engagement and success through student support and supervision, attendance, social-emotional behavior support, and collaboration with staff, students, families and community.
- Provide direct support services through counseling, crisis intervention, and case management as needed.
